Connecting and Collecting: Launch of the Rizal Ethnographic Objects in Germany in a Digital Exhibition at the Country Stand of the Philippines

In 1887, Dr. José Rizal donated a collection of ethnographic objects to the Ethnologisches Museum in Berlin, reflecting his deep engagement with the cultural and scientific environment of his time. Supported by the Office of Senator Loren Legarda, this project brings these objects to light through a collaborative study, examining their origins, materiality, and historical context.
